On March 11, 2024, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), together with Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Fine Arts Department, Thai Martial Arts Institute Association and the World Muay Thai Federation, released a press release for the 16th World Wai Khru Muay Thai Ceremony, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, with Mr. Apichai Chatchalermkit, Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, TAT, along with Mrs. Duangduean Sodsaengchan, Tourism and Sports, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Representatives of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province were honoured to attend the event this year, and it was held under the concept “Once in a lifetime learning Muay Thai.
